Jumeirah 1 and La Mer: what is near Solaya

Solaya stands on the Jumeirah 1 shoreline, next to La Mer beach and J1 Beach. Downtown Dubai is under 15 minutes away by car and Dubai International Airport (DXB) is about 20 minutes away (developer data). The site covers about 40 acres and holds nine buildings.

How the area grew around Meraas

The same developer built the neighbouring projects. Meraas launched City Walk in December 2013 and the La Mer beachfront in October 2017. Port de La Mer and Jumeira Bay, home to Bvlgari, are close by. More on the company on the Who is building Solaya page.

What the project adds

Solaya is nine low-rise buildings on 40 acres. According to the Foster + Partners architects, two residential clusters are linked by a new landscaped park along the beach, which is meant as a public space. The residential community itself is gated, with direct access to the beach. On site there are a Beach Park, pools, a spa and a gym, and security runs 24/7.
